"Signs in the city" is a project to promote foreign languages through city signs - signs in the streets of the city, historical heritage, architecture, artistic features, graffiti, sports, leisure, traffic, transport, maps, events, shops and restaurants etc.

Signs in the City website takes you through the languages, history and atmosphere of five European cities - Dobrich (Bulgaria), Nafplio (Greece), Gdansk (Poland), Alcalá de Henares (Spain) and Birgu (Malta) using the contemporary art - photography.
